BOB ROSS PAINTING
CLASSES
You will be part of a workshop being taught in the Bob Ross wet-on-wet oil landscape painting technique. Instructor James Burks will guide you to a completed painting even if you have never touched a paintbrush before. Plan to leave with a wet painting and make sure you come dressed to paint. Location is the His Workmanship LLC studio at 2505 Amberly Rd NE, Palm Bay, Florida.
Cost: $65 per person - 10 seats available (includes all materials)
Online sign up prior to the class is required. Site closes the day prior to the class. No refunds, but if an emergency causes you to miss the prepaid class, if you contact us, we are willing to shift your registration to another class day.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Signing up for private lessons with Instructor James Burks will offer individual attention in training students with an understanding of two-dimensional art, including drawing, painting, and other visual art mediums.

If you would like the Bob Ross Experience to come to you, you can arrange an event/party at your location. We will bring all the supplies to you and then you and your friends will be taught in the Bob Ross wet-on-wet oil landscape painting technique. Instructor James Burks will guide you to a completed painting even if you have never touched a paintbrush before. Plan to leave with a wet painting and make sure you come dressed to paint.
Your location needs to be large enough for the number of guests you invite (20 seats available - minimum of 7 people required to host an event.) $65 per person

SCHOOL CLASSES
This 2D course is designed to provide students with an understanding of two-dimensional art, including drawing, painting, and other visual art mediums. Students will explore the elements of art and the principles of design to build a strong art foundation. Location is the His Workmanship LLC studio at 2505 Amberly Rd NE, Palm Bay, Florida.
1 day a week (1 hour sessions) for 12 weeks - Schedule determined with Instructor
Cost: (12 hours) - $180 - 10 seats available (Art materials are included.)
Homeschool Co-op Classes
Basic Drawing is an introductory art course designed for any student grades in 3-5, who have had no previous experience or are well versed in visual arts. The course is designed to provide students with the foundations of artistic expression. Students will learn how to manipulate the elements of art and the principles of design, as well as use a variety of media to communicate ideas creatively. From basic pencil sketches to detailed shading, they'll learn how to bring their ideas to life on paper. Students will be introduced to fundamental techniques like hatching, cross-hatching, and stippling to create texture and depth in their drawings. Projects will be done in both black and white and color using a variety of media and techniques such as pencil, markers, and colored pencils. Students will draw from live objects, photo references and tap into their imagination for creative inspiration. Cost: $180

Painting Techniques is an introduction to both transparent watercolor painting and opaque acrylic painting. Students will dive into the fluid world of watercolor painting, learning a range of techniques that emphasize transparency, layering, and soft transitions. Students will experiment with wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques in acrylics to create stunning gradients and smooth washes. The class will focus on creating finished paintings, including portraits, still life, and landscapes, helping students develop their personal style while exploring the dynamic effect of painting. Students in grades 6 -12 will learning color mixing as well as a variety of painting techniques as they explore abstract and realistic approaches to painting. By the end of the class, students will have a portfolio of finished paintings, showcasing a variety of styles and techniques that demonstrate their understanding of both watercolor and acrylic mediums. Cost: $180
Exploring Colored Pencil and Pastel Drawing will unlock your creative potential in this fun and engaging class designed for middle and high school students! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, you’ll learn to draw with a range of vibrant colors using colored pencils and pastels. Throughout the course, we'll explore various techniques for blending, shading, and layering, helping you discover the unique qualities of both mediums. From the precise yourself through color. Whether you want to create portraits, landscapes, still life, or abstract pieces, all skill levels are welcome to join. The class is designed to support individual artistic growth, so students can experiment, practice, and develop their unique style in a supportive environment. By the end of the course, you'll have a collection of personal artwork and a set of skills to continue developing as an artist! Cost: $180
